Tony Shawver serves as Director and National Agile Practice leader at MATRIX. Joining MATRIX in 2010, Tony possesses over 16 years of experience in leading technology projects including implementation, software application development, consulting and coaching. His technical experience includes hardware and software development, project management, agile coaching, technical consulting, training and business process analysis and re-engineering. Tony’s previous leadership experience includes his role as Principal and Director of the PMO, where he was responsible for creating the software development approach which balanced communication and quality needs with effectiveness and throughput. Tony’s current focus is split between transforming organizations into more productive, better places to work through pragmatic training, coaching and implementation of the Agile principles, and coaching software development teams to be more efficient and effective through the use of specific Agile methodologies.
