Juan Banda is a trainer, coach, speaker, blogger, martial artist and out of the box thinker.

Since Juan got exposed to Scrum in early 2007 he committed himself to continue learning and applying Scrum in the teams and organizations where he worked. His path put him in the roles of Scrum Master, Agile Trainer, Product Owner and Agile Coach. Juan is a CST, PMI-ACP and PMP.

Juan is also a community enthusiast that organized in his home country the Scrum Bolivia Day 2012 and 2013 conferences and the Scrum Gathering Bolivia 2014 conference . In August 2013 Juan has been elected to serve as a Director on the Agile Alliance Board.

As a speaker Juan presented in dozens of conferences and more recently in: the Scrum Gathering New Orleans, the Regional Scrum Gathering Bolivia 2014, Agiles 2013 Peru, the Agile 2013 Conference in Nashville, the Scrum Gathering Las Vegas, Agiles 2012 Argentina, the Scrum Gathering Buenos Aires 2012 Regional Event, and local PMI Chapters conferences.
